Bengaluru: Kannada Okkoota, a federation of Kannada organisations has decided to organise a huge protest in Bengaluru on February 4 when Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be in the city, seeking his intervention in resolving the Mahadayi row.
Federation president Vatal Nagaraj said on Sunday that a large number of farmers from north Karnataka would take part. He reiterated there would be a State-wide bandh on January 25.
He said they were ready to withdraw the call for bandh and protest if Modi intervened by then.
