Bengaluru: In the ongoing investigation into the case of honey trapping of MLAs by a Parappana Agrahara resident, his gang and a few small screen actress, it has come to light that two MLAs from the coastal region of Karnataka managed to escape the trap.

According to sources, one of the MLAs was saved by a power-cut in the room due to which the camera could not record anything. In the other MLA’s case, the camera got switched off when the vanity bag fell. The gang decided against blackmailing the two MLAs as the footages recovered from the cameras were blank.

Reports state that two disqualified MLAs were also honey trapped by the gang. The police, however, remains tight-lipped about the case.

Meanwhile, sources have said that a few politicians from non-BJP parties are under the scanner for allegedly hiring the gang to record compromising videos of these MLAs for political gain.
