Bengaluru: BBMP here on Monday August 16, launched doctors’ door-to-door campaign in 54 of its wards in its first phase. The move is a precautionary step to counter likely third wave of Covid.

In the coming days, the BBMP will launch the campaign in all its 194 wards. Under this campaign, the doctors’ will visit every house in the ward and check health of people at their homes itself.

The experts have forewarned that the third wave is likely to hit the children and so far, Bengaluru has seen 500 cases in the last ten days. Therefore, BBMP has launched the campaign as a preventive and control measure against the likely third wave.
