Bengaluru: RR Nagar by-polls Congress candidate Kusuma Ravi has responded to the statement of Udupi-Chikamangaluru MP Shobha Karandlaje, who had recently said that anyone using IAS office Late DK Ravi’s name will never prosper.

Addressing Shobha Karandalaje as ‘Akka’ (sister), Kusuma wrote that the entire world knows who has been playing politics over DK Ravi’s name.

Kusuma further quoted Akka Mahadevi ad said that Karandlaje’s statement appears to be a comment on herself. “Stand in front of the mirror and reiterate your statement. You may just realize what the truth is,” said Kusuma.

Kusuma is the wife of IAS officer DK Ravi, who reportedly ended life in his Koramangala residence. The incident had created ripples in the state as it was then alleged that he resorted to taking this extreme step due to pressure from some influential persons. There were theories that he was murdered.
