Bengaluru: A war of words has erupted, with former Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy challenging Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to respond to accusations of “betrayal” and “treason.” Through a series of tweets on Twitter, Kumaraswamy has called for an explanation on these contentious matters.

In his Twitter posts, Kumaraswamy probed Siddaramaiah’s actions, accusing him of being involved in “betraying alliances” that eroded political partnerships. He suggested that Siddaramaiah’s conduct was tantamount to “undermining stability,” hinting at disruptive influence. Furthermore, Kumaraswamy questioned Siddaramaiah’s openness, challenging him to admit his instrumental role in the ousting of the Kumaraswamy government. The former Chief Minister went on to challenge Siddaramaiah to speak the truth and face any consequences that might arise.

The ongoing feud appears to be ignited by Siddaramaiah’s recent allusions to Siddhasutra, a symbol representing hidden knowledge and secrets. Siddaramaiah insinuated that he possessed insights into undisclosed matters, prompting Kumaraswamy to call for Siddaramaiah to disclose the contents of the Siddhasutra. The tweets also hinted at Siddaramaiah’s political strategies and questioned his ethical stance.

Kumaraswamy also brought up Siddaramaiah’s decision to occupy a residence designated for George, raising queries about the rationale behind this choice. He pointed out that former Chief Ministers were typically allocated separate accommodations and inquired about Siddaramaiah’s motivations for diverging from this tradition.

The dispute between these two senior politicians has escalated, with both insisting on transparency from the other. As Karnataka’s political arena experiences heightened tensions, the exchange between Kumaraswamy and Siddaramaiah has captured public attention and raised questions about alleged political maneuvering and alliances.
