K’taka registers 38 new cases, total reaches 353, DK too witnesses one positive case

Bengaluru: A total of 38 new cases have been registered in Karnataka today, April 17. With this the state’s tally has reached 353.

Mysuru topped the list with 12 new positive cases.

Bengaluru Urban stood in the second slot with nine new cases.

Mandya had three new cases, Bidr had one, Vijayapura had two, Ballari and seven and Chikkaballapura had three new cases.

Surprisingly, Dakshina Kannada disrict, which did not register any new case over the last ten to twelve days had registered one new case, with a man from Uppinangady testing positive.

One more shocking point in today’s bulletin is that three kids within the age limit of 10 years have been tested positive.

While six-year-old kids from Bengaluru and Vijayapura were tested positive, a nine-year-old kid was tested positive in Chikkaballapur.
