Bengaluru: The state registered 1,498 new corona positive cases, on Tuesday, July 7, taking the total COVID positive cases in the state to 26,815.

Bengaluru Urban continued to top the list in the state for highest number of cases. On Tuesday, Bengaluru Urban had 800 new positive corona cases.

The state witnessed 15 new COVID deaths today, taking the total COVID fatalities to 416.

COVID deaths have been registered in Bagalkote (1), Mysuru (4), Hassan (1), Dharwad (1), Davangere (1), Belagavi (1), Kalaburgi (2), Bidar (4).

As per the health bulletin, as many as 279 persons are in the ICU and 571 persons were discharged on Tuesday.
A total of 11,098 persons have recovered so far.

Other districts that have registered positive cases are: Dakshina Kannada (83), Dharwad (57), Kalaburgi and Bidar (51 each), Mysuru (49), Ballari (45), Ramanagara (37), Uttara Kannada (35), Shivamogga (33), Mandya (29), Udupi (28), Hassan and Bagalkote (26 each), Raichur (23), Vijayapura (22), Belagavi (20), Tumakuru (16), Kodagu (14), Yadagiri (10), Davangere, Kolara, Haveri, Chamarajanagara and Chikkamagaluru (6 each), Koppala (5), Gadag (4), Chikkaballapura (3), Chithradurga (1).
