Bengaluru: The state is inching close to the 10,000 mark as it registered 322 new corona positive cases, out of which 107 cases were reported from Bengaluru Urban alone.

With this, the state’s total corona positive cases has reached 9721.

The state also witnessed eight COVID fatalities today, taking the total deaths to 150.

Out of the eight deaths seven have been reported from Bengaluru Urban, while one has been reported from Ballari.

The district-wise break-up shows: Bengaluru Urban (107), Ballari (53), Bidar (22), Mysuru (21), Vijayapura (16), Udupi (11), Gadag (9), Dakshina Kannada and Kolara (8 each), Hassan (7)Kalaburgi (6), Chikkaballapur and Shivamogga (5 each), Dharwad, Tumakuru, Koppala and Chmarajanagar (4 each), Raichuru and Uttara Kannada (3 each), Mandya, Belagavi, Haveri, Davangere (2 each), Kodagu (1).
