Bangalore: The state transport minister Ramalinga Reddy announced that call center will be set up in order to avoid harassment to passengers  while travelling in KSRTC and BMTC.

The call centers will be set up with the objective of offering passengers’friendly services in KSRTC and BMTC.  The passengers can address their grievances by calling at the center, while the necessary action will be taken by the concerned officers, said minister Reddy.

Addressing the media persons, minister Reddy said that the higher officers of KSRTC should stop the habit of causing harassment to lower staff.  The call center will accept the grievances of not only the passengers but also from the KSRTC staff who are being caused of harassment, said minister Reddy.

‘To deny leave, demand bribe and harassing the lower staff is unjustified.  The lower staff who face this ordeal are not able to efficiently do their jobs,’ said minister Reddy.  Meanwhile, he cautioned the higher officer of stern action if such complaints are registered by lower staff.
