Bengaluru: KSRTC bus operations to Hyderabad from Bengaluru and Mysuru will resume from November 3 onwards. An announcement in this regard was made by the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) in a statement on Monday, November 2.

“Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation had stopped the operation of inter-state bus services due to COVID-19 and lockdown. As lockdown has been relaxed, KSRTC will restart the operations from Bengaluru and Mysuru to Hyderabad in Telangana State from 03.11.2020,” the statement read, adding that services will be operated “keeping in view the density of passengers”.

Passengers are mandatorily required to wear masks for the trip and can book tickets online in advance at www.ksrtc.in or through KSRTC/Franchisee advance reservation counters, the statement added.

Messages advocating the use of masks and encouraging people to maintain physical distancing are also being printed on the tickets to spread awareness.

Meanwhile, although many routes have reopened since the lockdown, the KSRTC is yet to get back to its full scale of operation compared to the pre-COVID days.
