Bengaluru: K. R. Venugopal, VC of Bangalore University returned to the university after the Supreme Court stayed the HC order quashing his appointment.

Earlier, a division bench cancelled his appointment. Venugopal had moved to the Surpeme Court. He has only two months term left.

The university teaching and non-teaching staff welcomed him to the duty.
