Bangalore : Former chief minister HD Kumaraswamy has alleged that the  government was targeting innocents in the KPSC bungling case, just to appease some  forces. He also said that  it was improper on the part of the government to suspend  Tahsildar Ashaparvan, an innocent officer, just because she was facing the charges of being part of the irregularities.

Speaking to reporters here, HDK said the government   should ensure that innocents are not harassed on the pretext of initiating action against those guilty in the scam. He  also suggested the government to ensure that no such cases are repeated in the future. If the government goes on investigating into the bungling, then  it may find it difficult to make fresh appointments in the days to come, he warned.

Referring to the Ashaparvan case, she said  action has been taken against her on the charges of issuing false caste certificate.  Stating that the order has been passed to appease the court,he said in reality the DC who issued the false caste certificate must be  suspended from service.
