KPCC prez distributes ‘B’ forms to candidates from resort

Bengaluru: In spite of furious rebellions by the party candidates who didn’t get the ticket to contest in the upcoming Assembly elections, KPCC President G Parameshwara distributed B forms to the candidates in a resort at Devanahalli in the outskirts of the city on April 17.

According to the party sources, Parameshwara changed his operating base from KPCC office to the resort because of fears of protests by rebelling candidates and their supporters, during the distribution of B forms.

However, protesters arrived at the resort also and demanded for party ticket. MLA B B Chimmanakatti, who missed ticket from Badami Constituency, met Parameshwara as the Congress leaders decided to field Dr. Devraj Pateel from there. Jagalooru MLA H P Rajesh also came with supporters and requested for the ticket.

Among others, Bellary Rural constituency candidate Koodligi MLA Nagendra came along with Santhosh Lad and collected the ‘B’ form. Gurappa Naidu of Padmanabha Nagar, Kagodu Thimmappa of Sagara, MLA Sathish Jarakiholi of Yamkanmardi, MLA S T Somshekhar of Yeshwanthpur, A C Shrinivas of Mahadevapura, Byrathi Suresh of Hebbala, MLA Umesh Jadav of Chincholi, MLA Akhanda Srinivasa Murthy of Pulikeshinagara and former MLA Jameer Ahmed Khan of Chamrajpet also collected the B forms.
