Bengaluru: KPCC president (designate) DK Shivakumar performed 8 homas at the party office on Queen’s road. These homas started at 5 am.

According to the party sources, Ganapati homa, Vastu homa, Rakshojna homa, Bhuvaraha homa, Navagraha homa, Mrityunjaya homa, Astalakshmi homa, Gayatri homa were performed as per rituals beside various pujas. DK Shivakumar was present during all the pujas and invoked God’s blessing for his future political endeavors. 

In the evening Shivakumar will visit various temples in Tamil Nadu and Kerala.

Speaking to reporters, Shivakumar made it clear that the date for the swearing-in ceremony as the president yet to be finalised.
