Kolar :A minor girl was allegedly gangraped by two construction workers at Mothakapalli village near Bethamangala in Bangarpet taluk on Tuesday.

However, the incident came to light only now after the victim’s father lodged a complaint with the Bethamangala police station on Wednesday night.

The girl is a Class VII student of the Government school in the village.

The suspects have been identified as Prakash, 23, a resident of the same village and Santhosh, 22. The duo were involved in some construction work at the school.

On Tuesday, the girl was returning home after classes, when she was accosted by the suspects who later gangraped her, police said and added that the suspects have absconded.

On Wednesday, a minor girl was reportedly gangraped by four youths in Malur taluk of the district.
