Bengaluru: Multi-lingual actor Kiccha Sudeep has come in support of multi-lingual actor Vijayalakshmi by lending a helping hand to her.

The actress, who was once one of the top sandalwood stars is now going through a tough patch in life. The actress was recently hospitalised and her sister had issued a statement revealing about their financial crisis. It is now said that Sudeep has responded immediately by donating Rs1 lakh.

Vijayalakshmi, who has starred opposite sandalwood superstars like Vishnuvardhan, Shivrajkumar and others was admitted to Mallya hospital in Bangaluru owing to high blood pressure and tiredness.

“All this while we were taking care of our mother. We spent all we had on her treatment. Now, we have no money to get my sister treated. We really need help from the industry people,” actor’s sister had made an appeal, to which Sudeep has responded
