Bangalore: A youth was reportedly hacked to death, over a trivial issue, in the city late last night on February 29.

The deceased is identified as Arun(19), working as a service boy in cargo sector at Kempegowda International Airport.

According to police a gang of five men is involved in the act and search operation is on to nab them.

It is said that grudge of heinous act was triggered over undue comments made by the deceased over Facebook chat with a friend about few of his acquaintances.

Raged by the comments made by Arun, a small time goons asked him to meet them near Chickjala area, from where they kidnapped and murdered him near Bagalur cross junction, a few meters away.

After the attack, profusely bleeding Arun was rushed Baptist hospital where he breathed last.

All the suspect accused are believed to be residents of Amrutahalli layout, police sources said.
