KHB land scam: ACB nabs two employees, GTD’s son absconding?

Mysuru: The Anti-corruption Bureau ( ACB) police nabbed 2 employees of Karnataka Housing Board (KHB) for their role in the alleged 81 acre KHB scam.

The ACB took KHB employees named Nagabhushan Aradhya and Nagaraju listed 6 and 7th in the list of accused into their custody for further investigation.

Meanwhile, son of former KHB chairman and MLA G T Devegowda is absconding fearing arrest as the suspense over his anticipatory bail plea continued.

ACB sleuths had recently booked 46 persons in connection with the KHB scam. The officials and middlemen are accused of cheating farmers and landlords by unlawful means by obtaining power of attorney to sell their lands in Mysuru taluk on their behalf for a lesser price than government compensation.
