Bengaluru: After a holistic medical tour last year, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is all set to leave on a medical leave for about 10 days starting from January 22 this year. He is expected to come over to Bengaluru for naturopathy treatment for his persistent cough.
As per sources the maverick CM should have left on leave from December 22, but postponed the same as he personally wanted to supervise the implementation of the odd-even scheme aimed at cutting through the capital’s deadly smog.

It is said that the CM’s cough worsened with the onset of winter and his blood sugar levels too have been high, said Mr Sisodia.

Kejriwal had spent 10 days in March, 2015 at the Jindal Nature Cure Institute in Bengaluru, days after he was sworn in as Delhi Chief Minister having swept elections in the capital. He is expected to visit the same health farm this year.

Last year, the 47-year-old Chief Minister had come to the institute with his parents and had lived in a suite called ‘Nest’. Then, he had done yoga and was kept on a strict diet to treat his cough and diabetes.
