Bengaluru: A KAS officer on probation who was deputed at Bengaluru International Exhibition Center COVID 19 care center died due to cardiac attack.

HM Gangadharaiah, 45, a retired army officer is the deceased officer. He was selected as the KAS officer under the ex-servicemen quota.

He was selected as the assistant commissioner.

A resident of Turuvekere in Tumkur district, Gangadharaiah developed chest pain while at the duty. He was rushed to a local hospital on Tumakur where he announced brought dead.

CM BS Yediyurappa condoled his death and announced Rs.25 compensation and a government job for any of the family members.
