Benglauru: Sitting Karwar MLA Satish Krishna got some relief from the Karnataka high court which granted anticipatory bail to  Sail in relation to six cases registered against him over allegations of transportation of illegal ore from Belekeri port.

He has been asked to  execute a personal bond of Rs 5 lakh and sureties for a like sum and surrender before the concerned court by June 30.

He was also told to attend the CBI Special Court without fail and cooperate with investigating officers before framing of charges.

The CBI, which had opposed the grant of bail, claimed that Sail had refused to accept the summons and hence trial could not be commenced.
