Karnataka will focus on three districts, vaccinate 3L people daily

Bengaluru: In a meeting with the Prime Minister, CM BS Yediyurappa was asked to lay focus on three districts in that state to monitor the rise in Covid-19 cases.

The meeting was held in the wake of the rising Covid cases. Three districts in the state- Bengaluru, Kalaburagi and Bidar will be given special attention. CM told reporters that these places were specifically chosen due to their proximity to the Maharashtra-Karnataka border.

As per an ANI report, CM assured the Prime Minister of increasing vaccinations to three lakhs daily and opening three Covid care centres in Bengaluru.
