Bengaluru: Karnataka on Friday, May 13 recorded 41,779 new coronavirus cases.
As per the health bulletin, the active cases in the state rose to 5,98,605. As many as 373 deaths due to coronavirus were reported on Friday.
Bengaluru Urban, on the other hand, saw 14,316 new cases and 121 deaths in a single day. The state reported 35,879 hospital discharges, bringing the total number of discharges to 15,10,557. After the pandemic began in March 2020, Karnataka has seen 21,30,267 positive cases.
As many as 1,10,51,982 people have received vaccination so far.
