Bengaluru:  Karnataka recorded 1,632 new Covid cases on Saturday August 14.

According to the State Health Department’s report, there are 22,698 active cases in the State. 377 cases were reported in Bengaluru Urban in a single day, while 411 cases were reported in Dakshina Kannada.

25 deaths due to Covid were reported in the State on Saturday, including one fatality in Bengaluru Urban. The death toll has risen to 36,958.

On Saturday, the State registered 1,612 hospital discharges, bringing the total to 28,68,351.

Since the pandemic began in March 2020, Karnataka has seen 29,28,033 positive cases.

According to the reports, the positivity rate is 1.04 percent, while the case fatality rate is 1.53 percent. So far, a total of 3,44,05,813 people have been vaccinated.
