Bengaluru: The Pourakarmikas across the State called off their indefinite strike on Tuesday July 5.

The decision was taken after Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai’s Office (CMO) sent a proceeding copy letter to the protestors. The letter assures Pourakarmikas that the process of regularising their services will begin soon.

It can be recalled here that Pourakarmikas went on an indefinite strike beginning Friday July 1 urging fulfilment of their various demands including regularisation of services and fixed salary among others.
