Karnataka Polls: JD(S) announces first list for 126 seats
Bengaluru: Even before the Election commission announced the election dates for upcoming assembly elections in Karnataka, the JD(S) has announced its first list of 126 candidates for the assembly polls.
Out of 224 assembly constituencies in the state, the JD(S) has released list of 126 candidates before the BJP and Congress.
Former Chief Minister Kumara Swamy and his brother HD Revanna will contest from Ramnagara and Holenarasimhapura. Mandya MP CN Puttaraju will be contesting from Melkote constituency. Except MLA Mallikarjuna Kubha of Basavakalyana constituency, JD(S) has given ticket to all the MLAs.
