Karnataka: Over 7L doses of Lumpy Skin disease vaccine supplied

Bengaluru: Over 2,000 cows succumbed to the Lumpy Skin disease in the State. The State Government has supplied over 7 lakh doses of vaccine for this disease which is spreading in all the districts.

According to Animal Husbandry Minister Prabhu Chavan, over 45,000 cows are infected with Lumpy Skin disease in the State. “90 per cent of the cows recovered,” he informed.

“Chief Minister Basaaraj Bommai has sanctioned Rs.15 Crore for the vaccination and treatment of the cows infected with this disease,” he said.
