Bengaluru: Karnataka reported 239 new cases of Covid-19 and 5 deaths on Tuesday November 2 bringing the overall number of cases to 29,88,760 and the death toll to 38,089.

According to the State Health Bulletin, the day also witnessed 376 discharges, bringing the overall number of recoveries in the State to 29,42,272.

Bengaluru Urban recorded 139 new cases, 190 discharges, and three deaths.

The positive rate for the day was 0.39 per cent, while the case fatality rate (CFR) was 2.09 per cent.

The total number of active cases in the State stands at 8,370.

A total of 5,10,07,738 samples have been analysed, with 60,711 being on tested on Tuesday alone.
