Bengaluru: The state government has deferred a decision on allowing liquor sale in the state till April 20.
Earlier, state excise minister H Nagesh had stated that the government is considering the proposal of opening the MSIL liquor outlets from April 15.
“Wait for few more days. Health is more important than the liquor,” he said.
“Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called for a stricter lockdown. So we will not allow liquor sale now. A decision will be taken after April 20 if the Covid 19 spread comes to control,” he said.
