The arrested are Jeeva, Keerthi and Yashas, all accused are said to be confidantes of Praveen Khandya, the prime accuse in Tejas Gowda kidnap case in which DySP Kallappa suicide case is entwined.

The police detained the accused from an apartment in North part of Bengaluru and were taken to undisclosed place for interrogation, police sources said.

On July 21, the prime accuse in the case Praveen was taken into custody and based on his tip off the consequent arrests have taken place on Thursday July 28.

Kallappa Handibhag had ended life during first week of July after his name cropped up in an abduction and extortion case.
