Bengaluru: The National Students Union of India (NSUI) held a condolence meet for Dr.M.M.Kalburgi and followed it up with a  protest at the Gandhi Statue to demand the arrest of the as yet unidentified accused.
Kalburgi died in hospital after being shot at close range by two assailants, who arrived at his doorstep in Dharwad at 9 am on Sunday morning, producing a wave of speculation on the identity and motive of his killers.
