Mysuru: Senior BJP Leader K S Eshwarappa has said that if there is a Noble Prize for liars, then it should be given to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.

Addressing a news conference, Eshwarappa said that anarchy has reached its peak and the recent incident of illegal sand miners attempting to murder Udupi Deputy Commissioner and Assistant Commissioner is the proof for the same.

“The incident poses a very important question and that is if there is a government existing in the state or not? The truth is that the government is in the clutches of the sand mafia. Sunil Bose is a testimony for this claim. The state is in such pathetic condition that even honest and upright officers are not safe here,” he lamented adding that the CM has earned the honour of being a liar and someone who comes up with strings of flowery false promises.

Retaliating to the statement of the CM that Eshwarappa has a silent desire that the BJP must taste defeat in Karnataka, Eshwarappa said that for him BJP is like a mother and that there is no way that he would wish bad for the party.

He further took a dig at the CM adding that the CM, in fact was a ‘Talaq’ politician, who divorced the JD(S) because he was power hungry.
