Bengaluru: The justice R.G. Vaidyanatha Commission, a one man commission that was appointed by the state government to inquire into the disturbances that took place on March 2, 2012 in the City Civil court complex when Janardhana Reddy was produced before the CBI court was submitted to the state government yesterday.

On March 2, 2012 there were many clashes between the police, media and advocates. Many advocates sustained injuries. Many vehicles were damaged and some were burnt. These included those of the police and the advocates.
The commission which functioned from the Ballabrooie Guest House, received 130 affidavits from the advocates, 332 from the police, and 139 from the general public. The media persons however filed only 5 short statements and no affidavit.
103 advocates advanced evidence as did 158 police personnel. 14 public witnesses were examined. Media personnel stayed away from this process.
Arguments concluded on 26.12.2014 and the commission submitted its report to the CM yesterday.





CM discusses budgetary requirements with Industry representatives
The CM in a pre budget consultative meeting discussed industry’s requirements with representatives of Industry at a meeting here yesterday. The State budget is slated for presentation in the legislative assembly on March 15th.
