Bengaluru: A twitter war between the two young state politicians i.e. BJP MP Pratap Simha and state IT/BT and tourism minister Priyanka Kharge throwing decency to the winds provided some free entertainment to followers of both the leaders on Saturday .

It all started with a tweet from Priyanka Kharge that hope the #ByPollResults results of the state is a lesson of humility for certain Paper Simhas who believe in rhetoric than actual work. An irked Simha started trolling junior Kharge and hit back stating remember your defeat as MLA candidate when you contested after your famous dad vacated that seat and for the post of Youth Congress president. This led to a full blown twitter war.

Beneath are the tweets exchanged between the leaders:
your name (Priyanka) itself is a symbol of slavery to Nehru family, words are free, but better be careful while you use them. He also tweeted that your dad ran away from Gurumitkal to Chittapur the moment that seat became general, because of his track record as MLA! Get a life. He also hit back at Kharge stating your dad compromised with his CM dream only to find a better future for his mediocre son like u! Saaka?!

“Stand from a general seat on d basis of development like Modiji, both you n your dad will be relegated to oblivion. Innuu beka?,” he added.

Simha also challenged that let your dad contest against me. Forget your candidature, you had lost even in reserved seat.

He further added that when your dad, who claims inflated track record, never dared to contest in gen seat. And you?! You are known by your dad’s surname.

He concluded his war of words with Kharge by stating that your dad got the ticket and ministership for u. I am here because of my hard work and the trust of people of Mysuru and Kodagu.

Priyanka Kharge who is known as soft spoken leader also hit back at Pratap Simha by replying to all his tweets. He accepted the challenge of Simha to contest in a general seat. “Please tell everyone why & how you got a ticket from Mysuru. People had a referendum for you as a candidate? Everyone knows how you got a ticket,” he hit back at Simha.

“You think you can win by volume more than reasoning? Why don’t you come for a debate on the “issues”? Trolling won’t help! I pity you! Ready to contest a general seat with you. Your commitment & work should do the talking. People decide if your fate of on oblivion,” he concluded his tweets.
