Bangalore : The voters have given the task of opposition party in the legislative assembly to keep tab on the state administration in committing any lapses, which he will efficiently fulfill, said the former CM H D Kumaraswamy.
Addressing the media persons after being administered the oath as a MLA, Kumaraswamy said that the people of Karnataka has chosen a party to govern the state. He has been minutely observing the functioning of newly-formed state government and JDS will strongly oppose any anti-people policies, said Kumaraswamy.
Reacting to Tamil Nadu government appealing to Supreme Court seeking compensation for crop losses, the state government had to wage a legal battle in this regard. He extended his support to state administration in this regard.
