Bengaluru: JDS state unit president AH Vishwanth suffered a mild heart attack at the Hyderabad airport. He has been rushed to a city hospital where he is said to be out of danger.
According to the sources, Vishwanath was returning from an event organised by the Kuruba (shepherd) community in Hyderabad. Around 12 noon, while he was about to get into the flight he sustained heart attack. His personal assistant immediately alerted the crew and airport staff who rushed him to a private hospital.
Congress leader HM Revanna is accompanying him at the hospital.
Arrangements are being made to bring him to Jayadeva hospital, Bangalore by air ambulance for better treatment.
