Bengaluru: Former Chief Minister and JD(S) State president H.D. Kumaraswamy said that every vote given to Congress in Karnataka Assembly elections will turn into an ATM for the Congress to fund elections in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and the Lok Sabha polls to be held in 2019.

“For Rahul Gandhi, Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee and Siddaramaiah will become like an ATM. If Congress is voted to power, the State will be looted,” said Kumaraswamy in an open letter addressed to Siddaramaiah and released here on Sunday.

Responding to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s attack on Janata Dal (Secular) and its founder H.D. Deve Gowda and his family members in the recent times, he said: “I do not need lessons on secularism from a person like you, who has divided people for votes.”

Kumaraswamy said: “Your frequent statements on defeating me in Ramanagaram smacks of revenge politics that you have cultivated to defeat others to grow in your life. I’m not KPCC president Dr G Parameshwara to lose.”

He has also spoken about Siddaramaiah’s growth in JD(S) and his alleged betrayal and lack of respect towards Gowda.
