Bengaluru/Ramanagara: JDS leader and Member of Legislative Council Syed Apsar Aga breathed his last following health complications, at the Fortis Hospital here late in the night on Friday, June 8.

Aga, a native of Dodda Maseedi of Ramanagara, was also a member of City Municipal Corporation before being elected to the Upper House in the state. He used to run mango and silk business. He was suffering from severe health problems for the past 3 months.

Last rites of the deceased will be held on Saturday (today) afternoon. Many dignitaries including Chief Minister Kumaraswamy and former PM H D Devegowda will visit the place to have the final view, sources said.
