JDS-Congress MLAs joint meeting to be held on February 6 and 7

Bengaluru: Deputy Chief Minister Dr G Parameshwara announced that to bring the coalition government back on track, a joint meeting of all the JDS and Congress MLAs will be convened on February 6 and 7 in Bengaluru city.

Speaking to reporters after the state Cabinet meeting on Wednesday night, he stated that this joint meeting has been convened to resolve all pending issues and sort out the differences in opinion between the MLAs.

“CM H D Kumaraswamy, CLP (Congress Legislative Party) leader Siddaramaiah and the senior leaders of both the parties will participate in this meeting. The lawmakers of both the parties will be given a platform to raise their issues and find a solution,” he said.

“I don’t know the statements given by the leaders of both the parties. Our aim is to resolve the crisis. A joint meeting will help us understand the situation and condition better,” he added.
