Jayadeva hospital all set to become India’s largest cardiac specialty hospital

Bengaluru: Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences and Research of the city will add 325 new beds next year.

With this the total bed capacity of the hospital will reach 950, making it India’s biggest cardiac speciality hospital.

According to the hospital director Dr CN Manjunath, it was possible because of the generous donations by the Infosys Foundation chief Sudha Murthy, who donated a new building with all the required equipment.

As many as 325 new beds will be added in the new building.

CM BS Yediyurappa, who reviewed the hospital’s performance on Tuesday informed that the hospital shall become good places for quality treatment for the poor.

He also assured all the possible support from the government.
