Janandolana activists demand reinstatement of ADGP Ravindranath

Ramanagara : The activists of the Karnataka Janandolana Sanghatane staged a protest in the town on Tuesday June 3 to protest against the atrocities and insult done to State Reserve Police Force ADGP Dr Ravindranath over a trivial  issue.

The protestors who gathered outside the Kandaya Bhavan raised slogans against Bangalore City Police Commissioner Raghavendra Auradkar, DCP Ravikanthegowda and High Grounds PSI Ravi.

K Mariappa, State President of the Sanghatane described ADGP Dr Ravindranath as a committed officer and alleged that some vested interests in the police department had conspired to fix him in the case. Describing the development as a matter of great concern, he demanded that those officials who conspired against the ADGP should be suspended and  that Ravindranath should be reinstated.

A memorandum was submitted to Additional DC AB Basavaraju. Sanghatane office bearers Venkatesh, KR Ramesh, Mohan Kumar, Aphroze, Sowbhagyamma, Puttaswami and others participated in the protest.
