Bengaluru: Siddaramaiah-led Congress government in Karnataka completes three years on Friday. To evaluate these three years Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will hold ‘Janamana’ (interaction with the public).
The event which has been organised at GKVK auditorium will be attended by by all Cabinet ministers and over 2000 people from the city.
The event has been organised to gauge public opinion on Siddaraiah’s policies and programmes particularly Anna Bhagya, a scheme for supply of subsidised grains to the poor.
The CM has also invited over 600 beneficiaries from the districts for the programme. Beneficiaries of different schemes will interact with the CM and give their feedback on various Bhagyas.
Apart from beneficiaries, intellectuals will also participate in the programme and the Cabinet ministers will provide a feedback regarding schemes of their respective departments at the event.
The government has already started Janamana concept at the district level through Information and Public Relations department to educate people about the schemes and programmes.
Siddaramaiah will also release a booklet on three years of achievements while in power.
