Bengaluru: The State Government must protect every citizen of the State and not only protect citizens of one particular religion, said JD (S) Leader and Former Chief Minister H. D. Kumarswamy here on Wednesday March 30. He was expressing his opinion on the issue of Muslim vendors being discriminated by the Hindus and steps taken to boycott their businesses.
Speaking to mediapersons HDK said that BJP has been indulging in politics using religion as basis keeping 2023 Assembly Election in mind. The people of the State are fed up with the recent development in the State. The citizens will not take this, and topple BJP from power.
Further he warned, “It is the responsibility of the government to protect interest of its people beyond caste, religion, creed and race but the Government is focusing only on one community, which may lead to its destruction in the State.”
