Bengaluru: IT officers carried out fresh raids across the Mandya district on Tuesday morning. A fuel station, a shop, a sawmill belonging to JDS Zilla Panchayat member Thimmegowda were raided on Tuesday.

According to the sources, the IT raids were carried out simultaneously in Mandya, Maddur and Pandavapura.

If sources are we to be believed, the IT authorities are searching for money that is being transported, meant for distribution to the voters on the eve of the voting (Wednesday). “They raided a factory as well, which belongs to a senior JDS leader’s husband,” said sources.
