IT department writes to ECI, seeks action against CM HDK

Bengaluru: The IT department has written two letters to the Election Commission seeking action against CM HD Kumaraswamy and others for holding a protest in front of its office in the city and revealing the details of IT raids.

According to the sources, IT department wants action against CM Kumaraswamy for revealing the details of IT raids on March 27 and holding a protest on March 28.

According to the sources, IT commissioner (Karnataka and Goa circle) Balakrishna, in his letter dated March 30, he has requested the EC to act against CM HDK. He also sought action against several other Congress and JDS leaders for holding a protest in front of IT office on March 28. The names of leaders including DCM G Parameshwar have also been mentioned in the letter.
