Bengaluru: In a shocking incident, a man who was engulfed in flames, almost died on the street pleading for help.

The incident happened when the victim was repairing a dysfunctional transformer at Hosur Road. It caught fire due to a short circuit. Soon the victim too was burning in fire.

He kept pleading for help for fifteen minutes but no one came to his aid.

The passersby turned a blind eye to his pleas. Finally, the employees of a nearby hotel came to his help. They poured water on him. No one including auto drivers stopped when they tried stopping vehicles to shift the victim to the hospital.

He was finally shifted to St. John’s hospital where he said to be battling for life.
