Bengaluru: Chief Minister Basavavarj Bommai said on Thursday June 2 that the implementation of infrastructure works in the City will be expedited.

Speaking to mediapersons after BJP meeting at the Head Office he said that works under Nagarothana Yojane were affected due to recent rains in the City. However, now the works have been expedited, he added.

Stating that tendering process or the Suburban Rail Project is complete, he informed that the work would start soon. Work on major drains too is being taken up. The administrative approvals too have been given for smooth implementation of civic works in the City, Bommai informed.
