Bengaluru: Marking the occasion of 70 years of Karnataka Journalist Co-operative Society (KJCS), India Post (Karnataka Division) released a special postal cover on Monday, December 30.

The cover was released by Dr Charles Lobo, Chief Postmaster General, Karnataka Circle.

The chief guest of the programme was Deputy Chief Minister Lakshman Savadi. M S Rajendra Kumar, KJCS president presided over the programme.

KJCS vice president S Lakshminarayan and treasurer Yatiraj were also present.

Meanwhile, selected students were given away the ‘Pratibha Puraskar’ and also a new calendar for the year 2020 was released.

Directors of KJCS were also present.
