Bengaluru: The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) will operate 450 to 500 bus services from Bengaluru in addition to the existing schedules on August 11 and 12 in view of the Independence Day and general holidays. Special buses will be operated from various places to Bengaluru on August 15.
According to a KSRTC release, special buses will be operated from Kempegowda bus station, Bengaluru, to Dharmastala, Kukke Subrahmanya, Shivamogga, Hassan, Mangaluru, Kundapura, Sringeri, Horandu, Hubbali, Belagavi, Gokarna, and other places.
Special bus services from Mysuru Road satellite bus station will be operated exclusively towards Mysuru, Hunsur, Periyapatna, Virajpet, Kushalnagar, and Madikeri. Similarly, all premium special buses will be operated from Shanthinagar BMTC bus stand to Madurai, Kumbakonam, Trichy, Chennai, Coimbatore, Tirupati, Vijayawada, Hyderabad, and other places.
