Bengaluru: The state government has finally succeeded in convincing the lecturers to start valuations, news that has come as a huge relief to II PUC students.
A decision in this regard was taken in a meeting between SR Uma Shankar, principal secretary, primary and secondary education and MLCs from the teacher’s constituencies and representatives of the teachers’ federations.
Valuations for the PCMB answer scripts of the II PUC final examinations are yet to commence as the lecturers had been on a protest by boycotting the work.
As per the decision taken in the meeting, lecturers from 12 districts around Bengaluru will conduct the valuations. Transport facilities will be provided for all the valuation centres.
